Default Debt Validation
Can someone please tell me what information a collection agency is required to send a debtor to validate a debt.

Like my name states, do they not have to prove that I owe the debt or remove it from my credit report?

I have a million questions. I know all there is to know regarding American Laws and collection of debts but I'm afraid I know absolutely nothing regarding Canada.

Default Canadian Debt Collection Practices Law
It looks like you may find different laws in each province. For example, here is a British Columbia debt collection practices law.
