according to "flyingron" on the other thread

As a tenant you potentially have an interest in the proceedings (security deposit, etc...). If you want to blow off any claims, feel free to ignore it.
You should be forming your question to the trustee NOT your deadbeat roommate.
I began communications with the Interim Trustee asking what it meant to be on both Schedules B and F and he replied he is not allowed to give advice. Is it possible flyingron was referring to the US Trustee?

Is it OK to contact other creditors listed?

I know I cannot contact the debtor in regards to Schedule F, but is it OK I contact the debtor in regards to Schedule B?

If I were to contact the debtor's lawyer, what information is best not to share?

Some of my questions may seem awkward, but I know why I'm asking.

    Thanks for the help.

If the debtor is represented by counsel you should not contact the debtor for ANYTHING. If you have questions you can ask them of debtor's counsel but do not expect an informative response. You need to find your own attorney to find out what you should be doing. Asking here, where we can only respond in general terms, is not your best course of action.

The debtor knows I cannot afford an attorney. What area of law? Real estate/foreclosure or bankruptcy? Would free legal counsel be enough? What should I be well informed of if I go at this without legal counsel? I may have to.

Well, in that case the landlord can collect rent. as well as the debtor landlord can evicr a tenant.

According to the assignment of rents he cannot and given the bankruptcy trustee is in charge of all property, any rent...from what I understand of the literature...goes to them, not the debtor. Once I get in touch with an attorney I'll know more.

    that was a spam post.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
