I live in New Mexico, and I was wondering if I could still get emancipated, if I dropped out of school? Or would I have to stay in school?

It's unlikely that a court would view dropping out of school as a positive step toward financial self-sufficiency; but as indicated in your other thread, nothing in the statute says you can't be emancipated if you drop out. It probably would just substantially reduce the odds.

That's the definition of emancipation: supporting yourself!
