Default Can I still get empancipated if I drop out of school

I live in New Mexico, and I was wondering if I could still get emancipated, if I dropped out of school? Or would I have to stay in school?

It's unlikely that a court would view dropping out of school as a positive step toward financial self-sufficiency; but as indicated in your other thread, nothing in the statute says you can't be emancipated if you drop out. It probably would just substantially reduce the odds.

Okay, get a full-time job and then, after three months, report back here how you are doing.

    Good luck....

That's the definition of emancipation: supporting yourself!

By the way, how many times have you asked this question?
