Default My Debit Card Was Stolen, What Can the Offender Expect

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Iowa (Council Bluffs)

Today we discovered there was two charges made on our debit card, we canceled it and are in the process of getting it put back and sent a new one. They charged a total of (rounding as to not get exact figures) 105.00 total. (so far that we can tell).

I've been trying to find the iowa laws on this, but google is failing me, or maybe I'm failing at google .

Just curious what could happen to these bastards.

Have you reported it to the police? They can likely tell you what charges could be applied if a suspect was identified.

Depending on where and how the charges were made, they may never be able to identify the thieves.
