What to Do with a Corp That Never Made Any Money

My question involves business law in the state of: delaware

Last year i Created a delaware corporation because i thought i would be needing it. Well i havent done anything with it. Havent made any money and havent filed any taxes.

Ive been getting notices now that it owes about $12000 (based on the number of shares issued i think.) there is no way i can pay this so im wondering what i should do. Can i dissolve it without paying the taxes?

I can't tell you why you owe $12,000 in taxes. The normal procedure if you don't need a corp entity is you file paperwork to dissolve it. But in most jurisdictions, you'll need to certify all taxes and fees are paid, no outstanding debts or claims etc. before you can dissolve. But you go ahead to dissolve it if you may have to agree to assume the debts yourself, not a good idea, so I would check out the dissolution procedures and ramifications carefully.
