My question involves a traffic accident in the State of: New York

Hello,
I was picking up a passenger at a pick up zone, the passenger got in and I was waiting for her to put on a seatbelt before I start driving. While I was waiting another driver was backing out of her parking space. She backed into my rear door leaving a dent (there were two wide lanes in between us). After the fact, she went a bit forward and started to back up again. That’s when I got out of the car and knocked on her window, and asked her to pull over.
When she got out of the car, she demanded that I have to give her my insurance information. She refused to give me hers, and insisted that it was my fault and that I shouldn’t have been in her way.
After a long argument (she was the only one arguing), we called the police. Then she all of a sudden decided to exchange our insurance information. After a long wait, and still no police, she decided that she wants to pay for the damages.
We agreed to meet at a bodyshop the next day to get the damage evaluated. She did not show up, and asked me to proceed without her. I did, I was supplied with a document that states what has to be done, and how much it is going to cost. I missed a day of work. I called her again, and we agreed to meet the next day. She did not show up again. I missed another day of work. Her cellphone was off, so I called her house and asked her husband what has happened. He said that she is at work and he does not know anything. The next day she called and told me that she wants to meet. I was not willing to miss another day of work, so I asked her to come meet me at my work place, during my break. She showed up an hour after the time we were supposed to meet. She refused to pay for the damages, instead she was threatening me.
Please let me know what my options are!
Thank You
