Default Title Ownership To A Trailer

not sure if this is in the right thread, but I need some help. Here is my scenario:
Jill has purchased a trailer for Kim to start a business. The trailer title was put in Kim's name. The equipment in the trailer was Jills. Kim failed at the business and gave the trailer to Frank to try and save the business. Jill approved. Frank failed as well. Jill wanted the equipment and trailer back. Jill got her equipment back but not the trailer, title was not in her name, although she did give Kim the $ to purchase.

Kim gave the trailer title to Frank to sell, because Jill would not come pick up the trailer. Frank sold the trailer and is now being harrassed by Jill that the $$ for the sale of the trailer is hers.

Is Jill able to sue Frank for the sell of the trailer ? The $$ belongs to Kim since the title was orignally in her name....correct ???

You make no claim that the trailer was a gift. After Jill was that charitable to Frank and Kim, why do they want to keep her money?

Jill was charitable in this regard. But there were many reasons that led to a downfall. Frank was in the process of saving and investing extra funds to run the business, and waiting for Jill to fly out to him and train him. She never flew out. Then Jill suddenly called and said she needed the equipment to sell so she could pay off some bills.

Frank was upset cause of the all the money he had spent on various things to get the business going. And now he had to give back the equipment which was extremely vital and very expensive. It would take Frank a couple years to get the money that would cover this equipment. So Frank felt all his investing was a loss. Kim also invested heavily as well. Kim and Frank split the $$ from the trailer sale to pay off there debts due to there investments of this business.

I don't see any of that as a basis for them to keep Jill's money. It isn't Jill's fault that Frank wasn't competent to run the business, and it doesn't seem particularly reasonable for Frank to expect Jill to fly out, presumably at her own expense and on her own time, to train him how to run the business. Besides, why couldn't Kim train him?

Kim failed because she was not properly trained. Frank felt that if he was going to sign a contract with Jill and pay her a % each month for this business he should have been properly trained. Jill continously told him that she was going to come and train him, but kept cancelling at the last minute.

Kim and Frank sound very good at blaming other people for their own mistakes.
