    Default How Do I Go About Getting a New Court Appointed Lawyer if I Already Have One

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: north carolina
    My husband has a lawyer who will not help him what can we do?

    If we're talking about a public defender's office, he can talk to the lawyer's supervisor. If we're talking about a court-appointed private lawyer, he can petition the court for a new lawyer. What will happen? That depends on the facts.
