Will an Out of State Drug Charge Count as a Prior Offense

My question involves criminal law for the state of: TX
My question is that 2 and half year ago i was living in Michigan and i got a citation for possession of marijuana that was my first offense so the judge gave me
probation and fine.
I came to Texas and started living with my family recently i got pulled over they found a gram of marijuana in my car and gave me a citation. This was my first offense in Texas, my question is that will the court look at this case as my first offense in Texas OR it will be considered as second offense ?

Your out of state priors can indeed be considered. Will they? Possibly not.
