Chiropractic Office Taking Pictures of Patients

My question involves civil rights in the State of: Massachusetts

My wife went to a Chiropractor last week and he was performing an ultrasound on her L hip. While this was taking place, my wife happened to look up and one of the Dr's Medical Assisants was taking a picture of my wife with her cell phone. Is this legal? What right does my wife have as a patient?


She called the office the next after all this had happened and mentioned to the office manager about the incident , The office manager replied ,"She had been warned about bringing her cell phone to work...." then she asked my wife what she would like to do? (ie. tell the Dr?, let it go?) It seems very inappropriate

Any help would be greatly apperciated
