Default Responding To a False Injunction
I have a friend that broke up with his fiance. She filed a false injunction on him and then went back to him. She told him it was all dropped and they moved before there court date. He got three charges against him 1 for hitting the guy she was cheating on 2 for not going to court and 3 for not going to the injunction hearing. His mother was dying and had to leave state to see her so he could'nt make 2 court dates. Now he has a court date for being with her because they want to work things out and have a family. What will happen to him in this?

In my estimation, he needs to retain a lawyer (or have one appointed to represent him) to help himself avoid spending time in jail.

Did you live somewhere else in the two hours between your posts?
