Will a Cancer Patient Go to Prison Over a Felony Charge

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

My daughter was arrested for 3rd degree felony in Texas. She has never done anything wrong in her life, except a speeding ticket. Will she most likely do prison time? She just started chemo for breast cancer and in Jan is due for a mastectomy. Will treatment be provided for her. She has not gone to court yet.

We have no possible way to predict that. It depends on many different factors, none of which are available to us.

She should receive any necessary life-saving care while encarcerated, yes.

Her case may not even be completed before her scheduled mastectomy.
