Default J1 Visa Issue Date Different from DS-2019 Period

    Hi,
in my J1 Visa stamp the issue date is earlier (August 11, 2011) than the Covers Period on DS2019 (September 15, 2011). The expiration date is the same in both documents.

My question is: can I have a problem on the border if I arrive in USA some days before September 15? Since I have to book a flight, I don't wish to come across a problem at the border If I arrive, for example, on Sept. 14!

Thank you for your kind attention.

J-1 visitors can enter the United States up to 30 days before the DS-2019 start date but cannot be paid before the start date.
