Default Have a Deed, Paid Taxes, Clouded Title. Adverse Possesion

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas
I purchased property in 2003, have paid the taxes, built on it, lived there until last year and attempted to sell it only to find that there is a problem with my deed. The title company says I need some signatures from more of the heirs. I have contacted them and they said they would be glad to sign if their brother(who I bought it from) would sign giving them the property in another state. I can't find the brother and would like to sell my property.
I got married last year and put the deed in my husbands name so he could handle the neccessary paper work. Can I file adverse possession myself? Do I need a Lawyer? I really need to do this in the least expensive way.
I did not use a title company back when I bought the property. My mistake, bad business. Suggestions please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but you obviously need a lawyer in this case. Bite the bullet and pay the price. Make sure it is one that specializes in title issues.
