I am having a severe noise problem. My neighbors (a mother, Krista, and 3 boys, ages 10, 9 and 6, I'm guessing) moved in about 3 months ago. To welcome her to the complex, I took a small gift up to her. At that time we talked for a while and she said that if there is any noise please come up and let her know. I have been up there 5 or 6 times. Krista always says that she's doing the best that she can. There is constant noise. Stomping, heavy footsteps, yelling, kids screaming, stomping up and down the stairs (the bottom of the stairway is connected to my bedroom wall). This is happening on a daily basis. The only time that its quiet is when they are gone or asleep.
I have contacted management. They have called Krista several times and even been up to her apartment. Management tells me that as soon as a downstairs unit it available they will move her. Other than that they don't know what to do. What do I do in the meantime???? And who's to say that Krista will move? I have a handicapped child who's nerves are shot because of the noise. Let alone my own. Sometimes the noise goes on until 1 a.m. When I say constant noise, I mean constant noise. What can I do? Please help!!
