Default HOA Covenant Amendment Affecting Last Undeveloped Lot and Remodels

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Idaho

We have an HOA meeting to vote on amendments proposed. One amendment creates specific minimum and maximums for square footage that were not clear before. This would apply to both new construction and remodels. In this case there is only 1 undeveloped lot left and there is concern that it unfairly targets one lot. The other side of the argument is that is applies to all lots regarding any future remodeling or houses being torn down and then rebuilt.

    Opinions?

Default Re: HOA Covenant Amendment Affecting Last Undeveloped Lot and Remodels

There is concern by whom? The lot owner? If the lot owner doesn't object, what would the problem be?

You state that the size requirements "were not clear before" - so are we talking about a material change or a clarification?
