Can a Suspended License After Moving Affect My Current License

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: New York And North Carolina.

My original license was from NY. I received a traffic violation a few weeks before i moved, basically ignored and my NY license is suspend due to not paying fine. I currently live in NC. Can my suspension transfer to the state of NC. I already have an NC license.
