Default Statute of Limitations of Credit Card Fraud in North Carolina

My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Carolina
I signed a credit card cash advance in another persons name in North Carolina in 2001. I have since been repaying the advance to the person in question. What is the statute of limitations for possible prosecution for this offense?

There is no statute of limitations in North Carolina for felony offenses, so assuming this could potentially be charged as a felony that remains a possibility. However, with the passage of ten years and your entering into a civil repayment plan, I am skeptical that a prosecutor would have any great interest in picking up the case.

you could also be charged under federal ID theft (18 usc 1028) but the s/l is 5 years.
