Closed County Transfer

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
My husband gets released in 2 months and his counselor says she has not received reply from parole board regarding his parole transfer to another county. So now he will be paroled to his last committ. I have moved to another county and was told that where I live is closed for transfers. Is there anything I can do to transfer parole to a closed county? or if he files an appeal, what types of documents would we need to gather together for good reasons? Thank you

Unfortunately, closed means closed. You can put in a request and hope that they make an exception for you; if his parole officer is supportive, he may be able to help facilitate the process.
