My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: CO
I was accused by my employer for post negative comments about the company. When I definded myself, stating that this was untrue (which it is) and asked for the proof I was then fired. I asked several times before leaving for the proof, and was told that they were too busy to get it to me, but they would email it to me, as three people had it. It has been a week and I have called numerous times to get this proof. Now people who I am still in contact with at the company say that "everyone knows" and they are talking about it loudly at the front desk. I am not upset for being let go, I am upset for the untrue reason, and that the employer has told others within the company untrue things. What can I do leagally if anything?
