Unhappy Repo mess
My Vehicle was repoed in VA and I have been trying to contact the company for 3 weeks with no reply. I received a letter stating after 07-24-06 my vehicle was going to be sold 3 days before that date it stated I could call to make arrangements to get the car back. I have called everyday for the last 3 weeks leaving messages with no reply. Can my car legally be sold without the company even contacting me and given me the opportunity to get the car back if the letter said I could?:

Default Re: Repo mess
I believe the statutes which would govern the repossession and sale are from Title 8.9A of the Virginia Uniform Commercial Code.

If you can't get through to the company identified on the recall notice, try contacting your original lender.
