Default Company refuses name of workmans comp insurance
my lawyer and the workmans comp board in indiana can not identify the proper name of my former employer to see if they have workmans compensation. my former employers state and federal ID numbers are showing 2 different companies. my former employers did not show for any of the 3 hearing that were set and they refuse to reply to any letter my lawyer or the court has sent. how do i find out if my former employers have workmans comp if they are refusing to respond. and how do i track down my former employers recent name change? HELP!

Default Former Employer
Perhaps your lawyer can subpoena representatives from the companies to appear at a court hearing or deposition, where you can establish which one was your employer.

Default Thank you Aaron
Dear Aaron, My lawyer is going to subpeona the administrator and human resources individual to try to get the proper name of my former employers company. My lawyer is asking for workman comp, the dr. bills that have occured, and any future expenses to fix my lower back. Meanwhile, i have 2 herniated disks (L4&L5) and a pinched nerve. Is there anything else i can do to help my case?

Default Obtaining Workers' Compensation
It sounds like your lawyer is taking the appropriate steps. Unfortunately, particularly with intransigent employers, these things take time.
