Will spouse (Green card holder) be deported too because of wife's deportation?

One of my friend (all stay legal, and green card through employment in 2002 ) is going through a court case for felony charges. She is concerned in the worst case scenario if covicted and deported will her husband who got the green card because of marriage will be deported also. They have a US citizen kid of 8 years. They have lived in the US for 10 years and spouse is employed also. Final aim for them is to finish all the court proceedings, dispose property and go back to home country . Husband does not have any bad records except for speeding tickets.

Could not find information anywhere regarding such a scenario.

The husband's green card is derivative of his wife's? What type of visa(s) do they hold?

Both were on H1B visa earlier. Then wife got green card through Employment. Automatically husband also gets green card because of marriage. Once you get the green card, there is no visa involved or it is immigrant visa (not sure how that works)

Will the husband have any problem getting citizenship after five years ?
Will the husband be also deported in case wife is deported ?

So you're in fact stating that the husband has H-4 status?

No, Husband was on H4, then got a job so changed to H1 (all legal). Then since wife got green card, husband also automatically gets green card.
