Default Seventeen Years Old and Moving Out
i live in Michigan and i am 17 years old. i want to move out of my house, but first i wanted to make sure that my parents couldnt come after me. most people have told me that once you're 17 you cna legally move out of your house without your parents permisson but i wasnt sure if it was true. if i leave, and my parents call the cops, will the police look for me or make me come back home?

My response:

When are you going to be 18?

Are you financially capable of caring for yourself - - with, at least, the common necessities of life; e.g., housing, food, clothing, etc.?

Are you in any danger?
