Boyfriend's Mother Threatening to Kick Me Out

My question involves real estate located in the State of: NC

Basically myself and my boyfriend's mother are recently not getting along, and she's threatening to have me "kicked out". I have been living here for 7 years and she's been here for about a year b/c she lost her job. The property is in my boyfriend's father's name and his mother's name also, only b/c the father never thought of having her name taken off
Since I've been here for so long can she still have me kicked out?

I think she can but I'm hearing all kinds of things all around, and I'm just wanting to know if she can and what the laws are on a situation like this.

Anytime you're living in a place that isn't YOURS, you're subject to eviction. If you're living with no lease, then typically you'd be considered a month to month tenant, and your tenancy can be terminated with a month's notice. If you don't leave then, she can seek to have you evicted, in which case with a successful eviction proceeding, the sheriff's office would remove you if you didn't remove yourself.
