Neighbors Fence is Right on the Line - Do I Have Any Rights to the Side That Faces Me

My question involves real estate located in the State of: New Jersey - I live in Monmouth cty and we have livestock my neighbor has a horse fence that is right on the line the posts are half on my line and half on his. two years ago my landscaper put chickwire on the fence to prevent dogs from coming onto my proporty the neighbor aproched me at the time i stated if she wanted it to be removed I would. She said no but now after two years she is requesting me to remove it. since it is dead on the line do I have any right to leave the wire on the posts? I would like to max my property over in that area but since she placed the fence right on the line I can't place mine there.

How did the fence come to be right on the property line? Normally a fence would be placed on the side of the property line of the person who is installing the fence.

The fence was installed at its present location with your permission? Did it replace a fence that was previously in the same location?
