How to Recover Personal Property

My question involves personal property located in the State of: Colorado



I have a couple questins regarding a issue I am currently dealing with. I had some stuff at a friends house and there were no dates or rent set up as we were friends at the time. Unfortunately we had a falling out all cause I asked them to bring something for there son to do during our girl scout meetings. She had a $800 Bonzai slide of mine and two totes of Brownie craft supplies, a lot of party supplies and so on. I had contacted her several times and there was always a excuse on her behalf my brother has shed key, I won’t be home and so on. The onetime she said I could come I had just had back surgery and couldn’t go. She never sent me anything regarding she was throwing it away. I have been contacting her via email, text and telephone and never can get her to answer or reply until I had someone call last night to simply ask her to call me. She threatened me with harassment unfortunately it is not harassment when I only want my daughter’s and girl scouts belonging back. She said I had six weeks to come and obtain my property which she never told me and writing or in anyway.. Can I take her to small claims court? Any help would be helpful!!!

Are you telling us that the items have been discarded, that you have been unable to coordinate pick-up, or that she's no longer allowing you to pick up the items?
