Abandoned Motorcycle

My question involves personal property located in the State of: California

3 months ago I sold a motorcycle to someone walking down my street. The motor cycle needed some engine work. The buyer paid and then came back for about a month to work on the engine. He got the bike running about 2 months ago and hasn't been back. The bike is in my front driveway. I have no way to contact him, I don't even remember his name.
My questions are; if something happens to the bike am I responsible?
Someone asked me if it was for sale, can I sell it again and if the first buyer comes back reimburse him what he paid me?

If you sold it you transferred title, and thus cannot sell it again. If you agreed to hold and store it, then that's what you agreed to do and are obligated to take ordinary care of the motorcycle.
