Parking Ticket Lists Wrong Address and Wrong Offense

My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: NJ

Got a ticket by a cruel and mean officer at 3:14 am for parking for wrong direction - NJ wants to make money $54 more than traffic violations. In their computer the data has correct ticket # but wrong address and wrong offense in NJ code - The car has a disibility hanging sign from in the car - how can i win this thanks

Why is it cruel to ticket somebody for parking with their car facing the wrong way on a road? The rationale is that (with a few exceptions involving backing) you have to, at least for some period of time, drive against traffic both while parking and while leaving the spot, and can confuse other vehicles using the road.

If the offense code is correct on the ticket, but there is a data entry error by the court, that's apt to be corrected by the court. The same is true of a similar data entry error regarding the address.

Cruel as it was 3:14 in the morning in front of a private house

The offense in the computer is Parking prohibited is that right? the address of the location is wrong - what do you think

I'm going to assume that since you received a ticket, that the roadway isn't private. Since it's a public roadway, regardless if it is in front of a private residence, you need to obey all the applicable traffic and parking laws.

What was the actual number of the code that they cited you for?
