If both parties are underage, but the male is offensively sexually assaulting the female; could he be convicted as a sex offender? I keep getting mixed answers from my friends. I am worried that he will get away with hurting her.

has somebody reported the assault to the police or some other authority?

and yes, a minor can be placed on the sex offender list. My children went to school with a guy that was put on our states list at 16 and he will be on for life.
