Am a F2 dependent visa holder entered USA after Marriage.My marriage lasted for 5 months. i was physically abused( domestic violence) ,Dowry issues- my husband expected money from my parents to take care of me and to spend for me saying he was on F1 status, when questioned about it he would harass me ,and physically abuse me. since i was new to USA after wedding i did not know that i had to report to the cops about it. i could not tolerate anymore, so left to my home country.
i have complained to the cops in my home country and planning to apply for divorce.
since am on F2 dependent status what will happen to this visa? is there any divorce benefits with my visa? how can i enter US again?
can somebody help me on this.
