Default What Does Consent to Waiver of Publication Mean

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: MO
    What does this mean?
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    CONSENT TO WAIVER OF PUBLICATION
COMES NOW (name removed), heir of the estate of (name removed), and Consents to the waiver and Notice of the Final Settlement
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the past I was told my portion of the estate was X amount of dollars. I received a cheque for that along with a notice they said I needed to sign and return for court records. One line in that letter said I waived any further rights to the estate. I didn't sign it and a few months later received more cheques, each again with that letter and the line saying I waived my rights to any further rights to the estate. I never signed those either. A few years went by and now I get yet another notice that I'm 'supposed' to sign so they can finalize the estate. The letter with it says I'll receive yet another cheque for my portion of the estate and need to sign the waiver and return it.

If in the begginning I was supposed to only receive that X amount of dollars... why do they keep sending more dollars and those notices?

A waiver of that type permits the administrator to submit a final distribution for approval by the court without going through the full publication and notice requirements.
