Default Threatening Letter from Trademark Lawyer

    Hi,

I have received a letter from the lawyers of a listed company, saying I have infringed their trademark rights.

I have a domain called, xxxxxxxxzzzzzzz ,all one word, the z's being the name of that company-the x's being a descriptive word. I dont want to put in more detail, unless its ok, and its neccesary. The word is not unpolite etc

They have offered me a nominal fee to buy it from me, plus some costs.

I would like to keep it, but cant afford legal bills etc.

Does anyone have any comment on what I should do ?

I appreciate anyones help, and of course, would never hold anyone responsible for bad info.

    Thanks

If you're squatting on someone else's trademark you can expect to lose the domain dispute proceedings. You'll lose the domain without any compensation at all.
