Default Statute of Limitations for Embezzlement in Texas
Can you plese tell me the statue of limitations on taking funds from a private company. My sister has been accussed of taking 250,000 from 11/93 to 6/01.

No charges have been filed. Thank you

The criminal statute of limitations is probably five years, but depending upon the facts could be longer. See Chapter 12 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
