Ticket Without a Code

My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: Colorado
I got a ticket last week for driving in the HOV lane with just myself in the car. The ticket ($120-ugh!) does not have a code number nor box checked as to what the violation is. Also there is not a case report # nor court number filled in.
Is this a valid ticket if it does not have the violation indicated anywhere?

The ticket doesn't even indicate that you were ticketed for driving alone in a HOV lane? Or by "it does not have the violation indicated anywhere" are you merely referring to the absence of an associated reference to a statute or ordinance?

The minimum fine in California for this violation is $381. I know this doesn't help, but I'd take a $120 fine any day over the ridiculous prices in California. Besides that it sounds like you have a good chance of getting out of this if there is no Vehicle Code number cited that you violated on the ticket.
