Default Changing Custody Without the Courts

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Ohio.....My parents have custody of my children and I now want them back, and they are willing to give them back to me but I would like to do it without the courts and all the fees that go along with that. I am married but we are seperated and the divorce will be file in the next few weeks. please help me, what exactly do i need to get in order to do this without the courts just their attorney.

You cannot legally change custody without the courts being involved.

There's nothing stopping your parents from simply letting the kids live with you - provided child services haven't been involved (in other words, depending on how and why the kids ended up with your parents in the first place).

However, this wouldn't be legally binding and you'd likely have trouble enrolling the kids in school etc.,

Where is dad? Does he want custody too?
