My question involves criminal records for the state of: IL
In 1999 I was convicted of the following:
Disposition 02/00 Count 001 Cost Only
Disposition: Guilty THEFT/UNAUTHD CONTROL/>300<10K
Disposition Type: Court Action Defendant Plea: Guilty
Statute 720 5/16-1(a)(1) Class 3 Orig.
Sentence: 10/13/1999
Sentence: Conditional Discharge/Special Conditions Sentence In Force
Sentence: Fines and/or Cost/Penalties and Fees Sentence In Force
Sentence: Restitution Sentence In Force
Sentence: Jail 90Days Suspened
Sentence: Public Service 120Hrs Sentence In Force
Cost Only 213.00 RESTITUTION AMOUNT 102.00 Signed
I was wanting to know if I would have any luck getting this expunged. I was under the impression that once I completed the PSW, paid my fines and restitution that my charge would be reduced to a misdemeanor. I never thought anything about untill I applied for a IL FOID card and was unable to get it due to a felony. Is there any luck I can get this removed?
