Found Guilty After a TBD

My question involves traffic court in the State of: CA

I have submitted:
TBWD
Request for Traffic School
Fine
Traffic School Fee (on separate checks)

I already received the response and found guilty.

so now i am working on to getting my traffic school request again, if i am eligible hopefully, and sending the request once more.

TR-215 didnt state the verdict for traffic school - only my guilt. but i was still charged for my traffic school fees.

just today i sent a request for it (again), stating that a response with my traffic school check hasnt been made and included the bank statement, and their (the court's) photocopy and verification of receiving it.

and i am just wondering how long it would take to receive the response for that request.

im confused ... does this mean i got traffic school, but it wasnt mentioned? - this is why i sent a follow up letter today.

if i do get declined for this request at this time, can i still take traffic school in another time to get points off?
for example, in the next 6-12 months, i can go or call the court, request to take traffic school for a previous offense, then have points taken off my license.

If you sent something by first class mail, it will typically arrive in one to three days.

Check with the court clerk to see if your judge permits traffic school after a guilty verdict on a TBD and, if so, how you should submit your request.

The clerk just told me to resubmit it, and tell them ive already paid. He pointed to the express dropbox, and to drop it there.

... but in the future, can i just take TS to remove points? About 6-12 months from now.

No you can't... Once your case is closed, and the matter (conviction) reported to the DMV, you can't just simply decide you want your case reopened to take traffic school.

Is this going to be permanent, or will it be taken off after n years of a clean record?
