Does Kansas Law Allow for Parole on Inmates Who Took a Plea

Other than the 15% off for good behavior, does Kansas law allow for parole on inmates who took a plea bargain? I have a friend who took a plea bargain 61 months and the judge said he would get up to 15% off for good behavior but didn't mention anything about parole. Is that an additional possibility? If so, how long until he's up?
