Default Expungement of More Than One Felony

My question involves expungements or pardons for the state of: texas
my husband has two felony convictions
(unauthorized use of motor vehicle and burglary) from 16 years ago when he was 17 but sentanced as an adult. he got a 5 year sentance which he finished 11 years ago and has been in no trouble since. since then he has graduated college and has a family. can we get his record exponged?

If he was convicted in Texas, he cannot get the record expunged.

A pardon is the only way to go.... and that may or may not keep background checks from finding the information.

A pardon of itself won't cause the record to be suppressed, but he would be eligible to seek an expunction if he successfully obtained a pardon.
