Default When Can a Litigant Conduct Depositions

My question involves court procedures for the state of: I was recently "tro" by my ex-employer because they say that I broke a "non-disclosure". They served me with a complaint, I went to court and they got a "tro" and then I filed by mistake? an answer (I denied all allegations) but, I guess, I was supposed to do a "order to show cause", which I did and then went to court. The judge granted them a "preliminary injunction".

I want to go to court to state my case and depose the owner and others. What happens next? When can I depose people? Please let me know what the next steps are? I don't think that my ex - employer wants to go to trial but I do. They just wanted to shut me up! can I appeal the "preliminary injunction"? Thanks. I know that I am asking a lot of questions.

I suggest going to a law school library or the county law library, finding a guide to civil procedure before trial, and reading the relevant portions. You can also read the Code of Civil Procedure. There is no reasonable way we can give you a meaningful explanation of how to litigate your case, pro se, in a forum.

Realistically speaking, you would be well-served to retain counsel.
