How Do I Find My Children when They Turn 18 when They Have Been in State Custody

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: alabama
my children were taken from me in 2006 and my oldest one turns 18 this may. i really need some advice on how to contact him or find him. dhs will not return any of my phone calls. they were taken from me cause of all the domestic violence they had seen and been through. begging fo help

All you can do is utilize such things as private investigators, social networking sites etc.,.

There is no legal action you can take to compel either DHS or any other party to give you information and it may well be that you're out of luck unless your kids want to find you themselves.

This assumes there's nothing in place such as a lifetime protection order or similar (which I'm not sure would be enforceable anyway).
