Default First Offense Petty Theft at Walmart in Florida and Im Over 18

My question involves criminal law for the state of: florida

Im 18 years old and I was caught stealing $30 dollars worth of stuff at walmart.

My court date is in a month and I have absolutly no idea what to do or say.
I dont think I can afford lawyer , but Im not sure if i would even need one.

    >>>>SHOULD I PLEAD GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY?????
Should I plead guilty or not guilty. Im afraid that if I plead guilty the punishment will be harash, but If i plead not guilty Id be lying.

    >>>WHAT SHOULD I DO IN COURT???
I need help on what i should say/ ask for/ do in court.

I know a lawyer would help and speak for me in court but I dont have money for one.

    >>So I need also need advice on what a lawyer would do or say for me in court that I could do for myself.

Im reading like ten books on what to do in my situation. Ive been crying myself to sleep.

I WISH THIS WAS A DREAM I COULD WAKE UP FROM

    >I need all the advice I can get please someone help me
