Does the National Guard Require a Paternity Test for Benefits

My question involves paternity law for the State of: North Dakota
My son's Father is National Guard and he is saying that they require a paternity test for benifits. The father signed the acknowledgement of paternity so why does the National Guard still require a dna test.

I am not a lawyer but seek any source avilable.
If you have any friends in the NG they may be able to get the answer for you.

I already checked there website and there was nothing i also called all the numbers listed for NG in the phone book but there was no answer so i don't know where to turn. I have a friend who's step dad is in the NG and so i had her ask and he told her he has never heard of that and that he is probable trying to mess with me.
