Shoplifting Laws in Illinois

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois
im a kid and i stole a pretty decent amount of stuff from a local meijers,the last time i shoplifted from ther was when i was walking out with stuff and a couple of kids got stopped by what i think was the manager for shoplifting, (mistaken them for me? is it possible?) about three weeks passed, me, my mom and my siblings went to the meijers gas station (by the meijers i stole from), while my mom was getting gas, someone from the intercom called out our gas post thing and the one across from ours, my mom just shrugged it off got back in and started driving, right when we got to the exit the guy said something again but we didn't hear Wat he said so we just drove off, im really scared, if they got our licence plate, can they arrest me?
i stopped shoplifting later on because i was caught doing it at a target and a lp caught, took the goods, and told me to leave,pretty much he and let me off with a warning , (i learned my lesson after that)(also this happened before this accident)

If you steal, of course you can be arrested for stealing.

We lack psychic powers, so we don't know what will happen in the future. For now, I suggest not shopping at the Meijer where you have previously engaged in shoplifting.
