Default Harassment by Employer About Medical Condition

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Illinois

My employer recently was harassing me about my medical condition. He was threatening me with termination all night and made a snotty comment about going to the hospital after work.
I was just released from the hospital for irregular heart beats which was determined to be from Coronary Spasms. Spasms can be triggered by stress and if the spasms last long enough can cause heart attack.
His harassment drove my Blood Pressure up to dangerous levels and he could have caused me serious problems.

Should I contact the EEOC about something like this?

Could my condition be discribed as a disability?

If you believe that your employer is discriminating against you based upon a protected medical condition, you can report that to the EEOC. I have no way of telling you, based upon such limited facts, what the EEOC might conclude after investigating your report.

Rayloc, FYI - your employer must have 15 or more employees before the EEOC will accept a discrimination complaint.

The Il. Dept. of Human Rights accepts discrimination complaints (ie gender, race....) when the employer also has 15 or more employees except for disability only complaints the employer only needs 1 or more employees.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

    Thx for replies.
Our facility employs about 500. The supervisor in question was filling in for my usual who was on vac. This guy is more or less the Corporate rep. and despite his job title has the authority of the company pres. Everyones telling me its because I just got FMLA and its some kind of scare tactic so I wont misuse it but his total disreguard for my health really made me angry.
