My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: NJ
I've been reading and realize legally there is no law to prevent one from working from two companies, however I want to find if there is any other risk.
I also don't know about background check, does it check just the criminal or would they be able to find who one worked for and find that one has worked for two companies at the same time?
Is there anything that a company checks - like whether the newly hired person has ended all his relationships with his previous employer?
Is Working for two companies in completely different fields, at completely different time zones is OK?
