Angry Credit Card Company Will Not Work with My Debt Solution Company

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: NY

What can I do if a credit card company will not accept a proposal of payment made by a nationally accredited debt solution company, but still accepts the payments being made by myself to the debt program for the credit card company?

Chase credit cards wants a higher monthly payment and they say they will not accept a lower monthly payment schedule although they are still accepting the payments that I am making which are lower and that I, quite frankly, can afford and is within my budget. I was currently on one of Chase's payment programs. They helped me to get on the program when I was laid off and was collecting unemployment. I was able to maintain my payments (plus pay all of my other debts which are numerous).

Then my benefits expired. I informed Chase that I was going to have difficulty paying my debt and I asked if there was any way they can help me figure out a way to defer my payements or something of the sort. They said there was nothing they could do for me. Mind you, I was an excellent customer who always paid on time and never missed one payment. I did find a job quickly but the amount of money I was making and the frequency of when I was receiving checks made it difficult for me to keep up with any payments. I fell behind and decided to get involve in a debt solution company. I have no problems with the other credit cards accepting the proposal of payment from my debt company, but Chase is giving them a hard time; they want more money (which will throw a monkey wrench into my whole financial system thus making my budget tighter than what it already is) and they want to keep the APR high. But whatever payments I've made to the debt company for Chase they have, so far, accepted! I'm so angry over this that I'm about to break! It's freaking criminal what they are trying to do. I'm going to end up paying more than what the debt is worth and I will not allow for that to happen. What can I do about this? I should mention that I am currently part of a class action suit against them for not allowing me to be able to use a safe account protection plan that would've been able to defer my payments up to 6 months. But because of red tape I couldn't use it.

they are not required to accept a payment less than their minimum monthly payment. What they are doing is accepting a payment from you. If it is less than the minimum monthly required payment, you simply get recorded as having another late payment. They can sue you anytime they want to.

If they agreed to a lesser payment from the debt solution company, they become bound by that and whatever else is in the agreement proposed. Chase simply does not wish to set your contract aside so they are not limited in their actions.

It's freaking criminal what they are trying to do.
holding you to your contract is criminal? I believe your thinking is a bit askew.

I'm going to end up paying more than what the debt is worth and I will not allow for that to happen.
You will end up paying what you contracted to pay. Now, if Chase demands payment or makes charges not in your contract, then you have a right to gripe about what Chase is doing.

What can I do about this?
Pay what you agreed per your contract to Chase or risk being sued.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
