Using Photos

Hi
I have a website and I want to use some photos about Hairstyle in my site . I found those photos around the Internet , and also from some sites such as : http://www.hairstylesdesign.com/ or http://www.becomegorgeous.com/ . I found that photos are using in some different sites and there is not a clear origin for photos and also they are not celebrities , , But i want to know is it legal and possible to use them in my free website that I will publish some original articles and put a notice on them if any one have problem with any photos I can remove it from my site >?

photos have copyright protection. Just because you found them on the internet, it doesn't mean you can just take them and use them. You need to research the specific photo you want to use and negotiate the rights to use the photo. Once they are published by you, simply taking them down upon notice of a copyright infringement will not remove the possibility of owing the owner for the use of the photo.

some words you should add to your searching are "public domain" for pictures that are up to be used by anyone, and "creative commons" for photos that will have uniform licenses attached that might let you use them, particularly as you're not selling the pictures.
