    Default Car Lease Validity

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
We signed a lease agreement for a car and a week later received a call from the dealership asking us to come back in and recontract the car. According to them they calculated thr residual incorrectly and it makes a difference of $300.00. My question is this: Is the lease still valid? They are very anxious to get us back in there to resign paperwork.

    Default Re: Car Lease Validity

We cannot review the lease, and thus are not in a position to contract for the validity of the lease. We also don't know the nature of the error or how it occurred. It's possible that if you refuse to cooperate the dealership will have to eat the $300; it's also possible, depending upon the full facts, that they would have a viable claim against you for the $300.
